This week I decided to play the entirety of Dick Gregory’s The Light Side, The Dark Side, which is a speech he gave at Southampton College in 1969. In the first half of the record he talks about how organizing mass boycotts of products will get the capitalists to listen to the people – an idea that is especially relevant today.
